Theme: Oriental

Colors: Red, black and gold.

Décor: Oriental backdrop in the mezzanine stage with symbols in their language with meanings like harmony, peace, health, etc. Cocktail and high boy tables covered in black with red sashes in the chairs and a red cube with a light inside and a yellow cymbidium orchid floating, very simple, very oriental. The ice bar was in the shape of a dragon. The entrance to the Grand Ballroom was framed by silk red draping with the shape of a Pagoda flanked by columns with black vases and bamboo sticks. Inside the ballroom the dinner tables were covered with red silk and gold lame tablecloths, the chairs in black with a gold lame sash. The chargers were black and the napkins red or black. The centerpiece was an octagonal mirror with a stylized glass vase decorated with a red butterfly and holding an explosion of white dendrobium orchids surrounded by white votive candles. Dinner was served in white china. Across the fifty six foot stage for the band a red silk curtain as backdrop completed the effect.

Entertainment: Performers in Oriental costumes in the mezzanine stage. Models with red and black gowns by Miele modeled a collection of gold jewelry from Tiffany. And a production number depicting several dances from the Orient.
